ECCO GPS Keychain

eccoThe ECCO GPS keychain is a bit different from the other GPS trackers I have mentioned as it doesn’t allow for you to track something or someone, but to put a virtual pin on a location, then the ECCO GPS Keychain will show you your way back, along with how far away you are.

This is a great gadget for anyone who forgets where they parked the car, looses their tent at gigs or likes to walk aimlessly around foreign lands.  If only Hansel and Gretel had one of these!

The ECCO GPS Keychain is really simple to use.  You start of by ‘locking’ the location of where you are by pushing a button.  You can store up to three locations, so if you need to find your way back somewhere else on your way home you won’t need to worry!  Once you’ve stored the location you can go off and not worry about where you end up.  Once you have done, take the ECCO GPS keychain out and follow the simple arrow and distance display on the LCD screen.

The ECCO has a tracking distance of 9999 miles, but hopefully you won’t get quite that lost!  The ECCO is accurate to 10 meters and only takes half a minute to a minute to find a satellite, which is fantastic for a gadget of this size!

The ECCO GPS Keychain has an internal, rechargeable battery which will last for over 2 and a half hours.  That means you can use it a little bit every day without needing to keep charging it up!  When the ECCO starts to run out of battery all you need to do is plug it into your computer via a supplied USB cable which is incredibly convenient.

Unlike a lot of GPS trackers, the ECCO GPS keychain does not require a SIM card or an expensive monthly or annual subscription service.  You just buy the keychain and that is it!  You can buy the ECCO GPS keychain from Firebox.com.
